This should be a simple-ish project that couples a RPi, endoscope and a PiTFT LCD screen together. This will allow me to walk up to a hole (spider, bull ant nest, beetle etc), in the ground, stick the endoscope into it, press a button to take a photo of whats down there, then display it onto the 2.8" LCD screen.

I have tested most of it out, but for some reason there is an issue of the PiTFT kernel drivers blocking the endoscope (really just a webcam), from registering with the kernel. Adafruit is looking into the issue.

every time i read this thread, I think how uncomfortable the pi-cam would be is used in a "medical" procedure.....
