Laser Cutter in Workshop

Post by seaton » Wed Mar 11, 2020 3:07 pm

As some of you know I built a new workshop last year, started the build nearly 12 months ago to be precise.

anyway for the last number of months its been choccas with the contents of my two storage units. That being said we've been doing a bit of sorting and shuffling so-we can both start to use the workshop.

I now have the laser cutter in its new home, fume extraction now permanently plumbed in via a remote controlled extraction fan mounted permanently on the mezzanine floor up stairs to an outside vent. Additionally I thought it was time too tidy up the cooling system, so now it fits in snuggly underneath the cutter, so no more hassles moving the cutter around.

PS As you can see I still have to mount the tube current meter

Looks to be a neat setup. The fan is noisy, so having it away from the laser would be nice.
