Yes its the same laser head I have, I thought I bought it in and showed everyone at one of the meetings

Yes, you did bring it in, (It was just the three of us that day though) Is it the same unit including the driver etc? Same supplier or did you find a better(cheaper) one?

Moved anywhere towards getting it going?

It's the same one.

Yes I have made a carriage, but have come up with a different head design based on a kickstart project I backed, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1537608281/lazerblade-the-affordable-laser-cutter-engraver, where it also protects the end users eyes, as the original was open and its VERY bright, not to mention possible reflection from the print bed, so not very safe.

Actually it looks like he now has a 2.8W head, mine is 1.7W, same driver board though.

WOW!! Like the Darkly Labs kit. Will need to look into this one before moding the Felix.

Looks like it's actually happening too. Pitty I missed backing this one.
