I've been busy modifying a couple of FAXLights I made for the kids to give them a bit more "Light per Wind" with some 3D printed gears. These are 2.15:1 which just fit. I haven't got a pic of the handle on this one, but it goes over the M3 bolt.
I tried using the existing brass stepper motor cog for the small end, but it stripped 3D printed cog I made in about 5 minutes of abuse! Kids are good product testers!
ps: the Daughter loves ponies.. can you tell??
These have $8 steppers from China in them that need a bit more omph than the Japanese ones on the other two I made back here that only need a 1:1 wind.
