I picked an Anycubic Photon S SLA printer from Anycubics Ebay Store last week. These printers are now sub $700 and comes with 250ml of resin.
While I don't have a heap of photos at the moment the resolution is pretty damn impressive. 0.05mm as the default slicing resolution with it stated highest resolution is 0.010mm with the LCD fixing 0.047mm pixel resolution from the UV source.
Cons:
- Resolution, Resolution, Resolution - did I mention the Great Resolution?
The build time, while is similar to the FDM printers we have it will print all layers in parallel so you can load up your build plate and it will take the same time if printing 1 or more items
- The resin stinks so best for an outside room /workshop not in the main house.
The Cleanup process is messy.
Resin can be costly however very little is used during the print process and most can be re-used So depends on the size of the model being printed.
this is with the object upside down so you can see the size of the landing gear.
I found some unboxing ones on my phone
