A LOGO for SWMakers

Post by Jubbp » Mon Jun 23, 2014 1:13 pm

We're looking to get some branding done for advertising ourselves and one thing we haven't created yet is a logo.

I've done up a sketch and drawing of my ideas but I thought it might be good to get some more ideas from the group.

Let's brainstorm some ideas and submit you suggestions here.

Any different colours or ideas to make the letters stand out?

A random idea thrown at me from my dad.
It's supposed to be a chip with tentacles. ;)

Learning Sketchup this weekend in preparation for doing some prints when the printer arrives. Knocked up this model as an idea.

yes, I like the open hardware type cog as well. We could have multiple logos for different things. One should be easily and quickly 3D printed, which the cog should be.
