Review: NanoDLA V1.3 Logic Analyser

A friend in Shenzhen needed a simple logic analyser and asked for my advice, I mentioned the common cheap one that I picked up some years ago. Due to the age of it, it came with a USB Mini connector, so I mentioned that it would be good to search for something that has a USB-C connector. He found this board:
I bought one from TaoBao too and was very impressed with it. It can sample up to 24MHz, so for example you can measure/monitor up to a 12MHz SPI bus. Not earth shattering, but brilliant for the ~A$13 price. In the past the older cheap logic analysers wasn't natively recognised by my pulseview software, so each time I wanted to use it, I had to try and remember what kind of device it was called so I could select it from the list. This new one is auto recognised by Pulseview - ya! I run mine on Linux.
You can buy it on Aliexpress, Amazon and eBay (example link). Do check the connector style, as it comes in USB A or USB C and make sure it's the V1.3 (or newer), not the V1.1 or V1.2. . Do yourself a favor and go with USB-C.

I have tested it with i2C and SPI and WS2812 protocols and it mostly seems to work ok. It's my new favorite logic analyser and lives in my travel kit.
