I have both types:

Nano - Has onboard usb adapter
Pro-Mini - needs USB adapter

also pro-micro which is different processors aka Mini Leonardo

Looks like a great start start. A couple of suggestions : 1) Look at averaging your readings rather than reporting the raw value, as reporting the raw readings directly can give you a bit of a noise on the output, this can be done two ways, do a running average over the consecutive readings or each ...

Looks like Element14 costs $19.95 which included HDMI adapter, looks like you can't buy it from them without the adapter :(
