Always in need of more power, I've decided to give this project a go from instructables.

Harvested an SLA battery from a failed UPS this week. Hopefully the battery is ok. Ordered the panel sockets from EBay for $18 and have sourced a battery charger which I will buy later

I have an Ammo tin from my Geocaching days.

Now just have to wait the weeks it takes to ship stuff from China. Hopefully I will have the parts before the next meeting.

Did a similar setup with a 12AH SLA to power telescope remotely last year :)
