Yes as BeJay has mentioned just hook up the motor any way you like and test, if incorrect rotation reverse two wire and will work. They are brushless motor and are similar to ones used in quadcopter.

yes, that's a sizable print job there Stephen! Did you manage to finished off ok? No in the end due to the size and being printed in ABS I getting problems with small delimitations on some corners, not huge problems but not perfect. would have been ok in PLA but the temperatures involved it wouldn'...

Yes got it all up and running at Saturdays meeting, very clear, nice viewing angle and worked out of the box except for the touch where I had to do an update.

Only 2 .4 watts so will be ideal for your GIS Pi Paul.

I see there are tablet type projects coming our already for this.

Just added a few ideas to the document.

My thoughts are Keep it simple to start with. something like the line following or tabletop comp, then expand out to summo/maze/firefighting/magellan as we all get some experience in building and programming.

...until they hook you in and you can't do without it in your projects then they pull the rug out from under you split into into many products and charge an annual fee ;) Good old microsoft.
